For me, that means taking a human-centered design approach - understanding human behaviors through user research to design something that is as functional as it is beautiful.
Using a combination of methods including interviews, surveys, analysis, pattern-finding, and card sorting, I discover the business and users' goals.
Once I've defined the problem and gathered requirements, I build a framework for the desktop or mobile experience based on data and insights. Using quick prototyping and UX tools, I give form to design solutions.
By gathering feedback from users and stakeholders, I find out what works and what doesn't and continue to iterate. The best possible solution is the one that balances the needs of the business and the needs of the user. My goal is to find that balance.
